Çağla invests in founders building transformative companies in enterprise software. Prior to Category, she was at Citi Ventures where she backed AI infrastructure and application companies such as Datavolo (acq. by $SNOW), Galileo (acq. by $CSCO), Glean, Lexion (acq. by $DOCU), and Norm Ai.
Earlier in her career, Çağla was a software engineer at Microsoft and held product management leadership roles. She also spent time venture investing at Maverick Ventures, served as Chief of Staff at Season Health, and founded a vertical SaaS startup during business school.
She holds a BS in Math and Computational Science and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Outside of work, she enjoys staying active—whether hiking, skiing, or hitting the gym. She’s also an avid poker player and always up for a friendly game.
